W.A.Silva museum houses a collection of printing and type founding artefacts and machinery, a collection of artefacts from W A Silvas personal collection and belongings and things from the the period of 19th century.Furthermore, it has a collection of books and resources relating to languages, scripts and literature of Sri Lanka. The archive houses a collection of original materials, ephemera and printed materials from 19th century Sri Lanka.
