This walk was led by the late Dr Malathi de Alwis and aimed to present a narrative of the different ways in which violence and capitalization have influenced Colombo to make it what it is today. It reflected on how various forms of violence such as public executions, police shootings, assassinations and suicide bombings have marked the landscape of Colombo.
